The marsh was the very first subject matter I ever painted and it has continued to be a muse that I find myself revisiting again and again. For me, any day is made better on the water. I love being on the boat and exploring the narrow channels through the marsh grasses. 

For this collection, I took note of different colors found in the landscape and created collages in my sketchbook to inspire the color palette of each painting.

Whether it be the early morning where the water is like glass or golden hour when the grasses are tinged in yellow, admiring these local waters never gets old.
