2017 - Tropics

Tropics is a series inspired by the walk to the beach, and the first sight of the sea. I am struck by the various plant's shapes, sizes and colors as I walk. They are intricate and small, compared to the vast ocean ahead. I love the bright blue peeking through reeds and leaves. The salty air and sound of waves all grow my anticipation of seeing the water up ahead. Yet, I find magic in the lush details on along the way.
